Pokerroom is one of very few major poker rooms that allow you to play poker without having to download a client. Mac and Linux users should be very happy about this possibility since they are unable to play at poker rooms where a download is necessary. The Pokerroom software is excellent with nice graphics and the games running smoothly. There is also a download version of Pokerroom where the software is even better. Pokerroom has a good statistical feature that lets you see your hourly win/loss rate and big bets won per hour.
Like many other poker rooms Pokerroom grew rapidly during 2004. During peak hours the site has up to 2,500 cash game players and over 5,000 tournament players. A vast majority of these players are into Texas Hold'em. If you are looking for soft competition Pokerroom is a good place to play poker. Many of the games are full of beginners.
